The Human by Practice Approach

My approach blends psychology, behavioural insight and lived experience with creativity, warmth and curiosity. I use games, scenarios, puzzles and real conversation to shift day-to-day habits, build emotional intelligence and strengthen inclusive leadership in ways that feel grounded and human.

My approach in practice

My approach is grounded in behavioural insight, lived experience, creative methods and human connection. These four strands shape how I support leaders, teams and organisations across all areas of my work.

Leadership Coaching & Counselling

Grounded in deep listening, behavioural insight and real conversation, helping people shift patterns, strengthen relationships and lead with calm, intentional practice.

Management & Leadership Development

I use scenarios, games and reflective tools to help managers build confidence and capability in ways that feel human, practical and immediately usable with their teams.

Inclusion, Neurodiversity & Cultural Learning

I blend lived experience, psychology and creative methods to help teams understand identity, belonging, neurodiversity and the emotional cues that shape relationships.

Culture Diagnostics & DEI Strategy

Through diagnostics, listening and behavioural analysis, we build a clear picture of your culture and turn insight into a practical, human-centred roadmap for sustainable change.

The Human by Practice Approach: 1) Clarity, 2) Behaviour, 3) Humanity, 4) Creativity, 5) Continuity

Five pillars that shape my work

Every programme, workshop or partnership sits on five core pillars. They guide how I listen, design, challenge, coach and support organisations through change.

  • Clarity: Understanding lived experience, pressure points, and system dynamics.
  • Behaviour: Shifting everyday habits, communication, and leadership practice.
  • Humanity: Warmth, curiosity, emotional intelligence, and psychological safety.
  • Creativity: Games, storytelling, experimentation, and reflective tools.
  • Continuity: Measurable progress and behaviour embedded over time.
